Your space should be lit all the time or consider motion-activated lights, which have the added benefit of deterring thieves since the sudden light could mean someone is watching. LED lights, specifically, are beneficial for outdoor winter commercial video surveillance since LED lights last longer and don’t need time to warm up before turning on. If you want a space to light up the moment the motion sensor is triggered, LED lights are your best bet in a cold climate.
